PART III PREVENTION OF BUSH FIRES

SECTION 18 – RESTRICTED BURNING TIMES

Please be advised the Shire President, in consultation with the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, has declared an extension to the Restricted Burning Period up to and including Thursday, 14 November 2024, for the Shire of Merredin local government area.

This extension is to allow for the Merredin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service to conduct important hazard reduction burns around the Merredin townsite.
