The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is set to commence the long-anticipated works to install a second platform at Merredin Train Station in early September.
As part of this project, the pedestrian crossing immediately east of the station will be permanently closed to enhance safety. This closure is due to take place on Monday, 9 September 2024.
Please note: The pedestrian crossing located at Pioneer Park will remain operational.
This new platform will significantly improve accessibility and convenience for all residents, supporting the growth and connectivity of our town. We appreciate the PTA's efforts in bringing this important project to fruition and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our community.
