The Waterwise Council Program, a collaboration between Water Corporation and the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, supports local governments in adopting waterwise strategies crucial for facing climate change and decreasing rainfall across WA.

Merredin is one of 57 waterwise aquatic centres in WA, which have collectively saved 1.59 billion litres of water since the program began.
