We would like to extend our congratulations to all involved in the magnificent 2024 Wheatbelt Art Prize exhibition, hosted by Hon. Mia Davies MLA and opened at the Cummins Theatre on Friday, 11 October.

The exhibition was a true celebration of artistic talent, reflecting the depth and creativity of our region.

We are delighted to announce that the 2024 Shire Art Acquisition Award has been presented to Rosemary Lambert for her painting 'Evening Stroll'. A special thank you to Cr Hayley Billing and Cr Brad Anderson for thoughtfully selecting this beautiful work to join the Shire’s collection.

The winning artwork will be proudly displayed in the foyer of the Shire Administration Building in the coming weeks.
