From 5pm-8.30pm there will be a pop up ice skating rink, lots of stall holders for handy Christmas gifts, local stores open for late night shopping, a silent disco and the chance to win the Gala Night Shop Local raffle.

 Terms and Conditions
1. Spend $10 or more at participating stores for 1x entry* into the Shop Local Raffle.
*1 entry per transaction.
2. Name and contact number must be written clearly on the ticket. Any illegible tickets will be disregarded.
3. Raffle runs from the 8am 1 December 2022 to 12pm 15 December 2022. Transactions after the cut-off period will not be included.
4. It is the discretion of participating store holders if certain goods such as medical prescriptions, lottery tickets, train tickets are not to be included.
5. Raffle will be drawn at GALA NIGHT on the 15 December 2022. The raffle will be drawn for each item. Exchanges or substitutions cannot be made.
6. In the event of a faulty or damaged prize, Shire of Merredin cannot be held responsible.
7. The Shire of Merredin + Participating Stores have no responsibility to accept late, lost or misdirected entries.
8. Prizes can be collected from the Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre at GALA NIGHT on the 15 December 2022, or within operating hours in the weeks following; unless otherwise specified.

Road and Carpark Closures

The annual Merredin Gala Night will be held tomorrow on 15 December 2022 from 5pm onwards. As such, there will be a number of road and carpark closures in place throughout the day to allow for the set – up of the event zone.

The map below indicates these road and carpark closures, as well as areas available for parking on the night.

🟠 Parts of the Barrack Street West carpark will be closed from 8.00am onwards.
🟠 The Barrack Street East carpark and the remainder of the Barrack Street West carpark will be closed from 12.00pm onwards.
🟠 Barrack Street from AIM Dental building down to the Telstra building will be closed from 12.00pm onwards.
🟠 Bates Street from Barrack Street to Mitchell Street will be closed from 12.00pm onwards.

There will be directional signage within the carparks to direct traffic from 8am onwards.

Please note, there will be traffic management on site to assist cars to leave the event zone once the barricades are in place.
