Position Status: Permanent-Part time (min 26 hours per week)
Salary: Level 3/4 - $55,120 to $58,740 p/a* depending on skills and experience
*pro rata based on hours worked
An exciting opportunity has emerged at the Shire of Merredin for a Tourism Support Officer to join our team. This role will sit within the Strategy and Community Directorate and will support the Visitor Centre Team to achieve strategic outcomes relative to the department.
The primary role of this position is to provide quality customer service to locals and visitors. Key areas of the role will include visitor servicing, Transwa bookings, supporting tourism in Merredin and the Eastern Wheatbelt region and providing administrative support to the Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre Coordinator.
We are offering part time hours, minimum of 26 per week, however, there may be the opportunity to work more hours depending on the season.
