Position Status: Permanent - part time (min 24 hours per week)

Salary: Level 3 up to $53,877 p/a (subject to salary increase)

Applications are invited for the position of Cleaner with the Shire.  This role will primarily provide cleaning services at the Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre (MRCLC) and Cummins Theatre, though may be required to assist at other facilities on occasion. In this role you will be responsible for routine cleaning that ensures facilities are clean, maintained and well presented during hours of operation, through adherence to all cleaning roster duties.

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Strategy and Community, and working in conjunction with other Shire staff, this position is key to ensuring facilities are clean and well maintained to meet the expectations of users.  Ideally, we are looking for someone that takes pride in their work, is flexible with working hours and has some experience in commercial cleaning.

We are offering a minimum of 24 part time hours per week, however opportunity for extra hours may arise depending on activities and events held at each venue.
